Character:Doron is a hero in the Jewish community. Maryland's games are televised in Israel and the live web casts of all home games are extremely popular in her native country. At every game, she has hundreds of fans, Jewish and non-Jewish, asking for her autograph and gets the most requests of any of her teammates. Doron will fulfill every last request and is generally the last one to finish signing autographs or posing for photos. Inducted into the Greater Washington Jewish Community Center Sports Hall of Fame last year. She has been a role model to young Jewish athletes and Jewish children in this country and in Israel, speaking at many schools and teams.
