Classroom:Foster is on track to graduate in May 2008 with a degree in sociology. She would like to establish a program targeting innercity youth, which would focus on the direct correlation between gaining an education and success in America.
Character:Foster is the team captain in 2007-08. She has been the most vocal/emotional player on the floor for the Bison throughout her career and attends many Bucknell athletics events all over campus. She is usually one of the most vocal fans, cheering on her classmates. She always wanted to attend a "smaller" school in terms of basketball to challenge herself. Foster and her twin sister, Precious, were born prematurely and were told they would be behind their peers developmentally most of their lives, but both of the twins graduated from high school on time, both played sports and both are on track to graduate from college after four years. She credits her mother for instilling character in her.
Community:Foster has worked with innercity youth as a sports counselor with the Washington, D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation. She is an active member in the youth department at her place of worship. She served as president of the Melody Angels Gospel Band prior to attending Bucknell, She sees herself as a role model for fellow parishioners.
Competition:As a junior, Foster was the 2006-07 Patriot League Player of the Year and has been a two-time first-team All-Patriot League selection. She is the 2007-08 Patriot League Preseason Player of the Year. As a freshman, she was a member of the 2004-05 Patriot League All-Rookie Team. She is second in Patriot League history with 260 career blocked shots and holds every Bucknell blocked shot record, including the top three positions on the single-season blocks list. Her career averages are 10.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg and 3.0 bpg. She has ranked among the top 10 in the nation in blocked shots each of the last two years and ranks seventh in Bucknell history with 674 career rebounds.
