Classroom:Rogers has a 3.80 grade point average while majoring in business management with a minor in entrepreneurship. He was named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District as a junior. He is a member of Beta Sigma Gamma and the College Athletes Honor Society. He made the Dean's List twice and was on the President's List on four occasions. Rogers has won the team's academic award following each of his first three years on the Hill.
Character:As a sophomore, Rogers started 22 games at point guard despite never playing the position before in order to help WKU reach the championship game of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and win a first-round game in the National Invitation Tournament. He is expected to come off the bench as a senior to allow a sophomore to start at shooting guard in his place this year.
Community:A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Living Hope Baptist Church, Rogers has had many speaking engagements at area schools and churches. He has worked several sessions of basketball camps and clinics during summer and winter terms.
Competition:WKU is 67-28 in Rogers' first three years in the program. He enters his final season ranked ninth in school history with 147 three-point field goals. He has raised his scoring average every year on the court, finishing last year with a career-best 8.9 points per game as well as a team-leading 65 three-point field goals. He also shot a career-high 39.4 percent from three-point range as a junior. He has a career 1.68 assist-to-turnover ratio and was selected the most improved player in the program following his sophomore season.
